Compassion for People

For a week now, God had been reminding me to be mindful of the next generation. I am sharing this to you, to let you know that you are not alone in this vision.

Being a woman, a mom, a teacher, a mentor or a leader does not even come close to this topic of considering the next generation but having compassion for people is. I had been reminded from Psalm 86:15 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

May we walk with all compassion beyond love, beyond feeling and beyond charity.

The question lingering in my thought right now is, “What drives you to do the unthinkable, hold on to the hope you don’t see and believe in the impossible?”

May that be the fear of God in Christ Jesus. 💖

God Whispers

Good morning Family in Christ 💖

My Darling cooked beef and mushroom for lunch one time this week. The moment I woke up from my power nap he invited me to eat. I was hungry and it was incredible that he knew. I love beef and mushrooms too.

While we were dining, I told him that God had been really quiet on me recently. This began my pursuit to find God through talking to my Darling, read alouds from the Bible with our children and family corporate prayer. When I didn’t stop, He gave me this verse in

Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

I am crying with tears of joy because of this. I am in awe of His spoken Words, most especially when He whispers them to me. They are forever certain.

Wisdom at Home

Good evening Family in Christ ❤️

Sharing to you the continuation of our reading at home which lead I and QRST to Proverbs 27:1 NKJV

Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.

I can never tell how tomorrow will be like because even weather predictions would change even at the last minute. The observations we have now, may be different from what actually is going to happen. What I do is to always prepare the best I can, which includes not only being physically prepared but spiritually too.

Renewal of Vows

Blessed New Year family ❤️

To start our school year we moved through the next commandment in Exodus. I was blessed to had been reminded to honor my marriage vows.

In the middle of their heart hunt they said:

✓ when they found the first heart they were so happy (the same feeling I felt when I met My Darling)
✓ when they found the second heart they felt wanting to find more because they are 2 more hearts short (God’s never ending reminder to me to be contented with the My Darling, best friend and spouse)
✓ when they found the third heart, they were running out of time and they were getting frustrated (so true, at times we have a misunderstanding because of un met expectations and dreams/plans which didn’t happen and we end up not talking to each other for a long time)
✓ just when they were about to go back down to share that they only found 3 hearts, their eyes lit up when they got the 4th heart to complete their task and that they were happy for the price they received – chocolates (Q exclaimed: Just when we were about to give up we found the blessing.)

I am blessed with this opening lesson we had about honoring my marriage vows. Our children are not married yet, but teaching this to them, without skipping it, leaves a lasting lesson in their hearts that, in the not so distant future, when they get married – they will remember this day as the day they prayed for their spouses and their God given love to them. #PraiseGod #HomeSchoolForMe2021 #GumpicSchooling2021

This Is Time

Good evening my Family in Christ 💖

This world defined time as the best expression of love. Time cannot be bought. Time is a river which you can’t thread on the same water at the exact same time and the exact same moment. Time flies. Time, is a luxury one can never afford and more.

This new year, I want to think of time as a gift. A gift, God had given me, and I want to be able to look back to it and find memories of moments I have spent glorifying Him.

Blessed New Year to all from us to you 💖

Looking Ahead

Blessed morning Family in Christ 💖

Most, if not all will be preparing what they planned to do this coming 2021. Expecting what would any of us would want to happen in the future requires consistency and dependency.

Consistency because in the middle of what good we have started doing, something changes. Knowing the end goal keeps everything in tact and you may continue on no matter how unpredictable that which you’d want to pursue.

Dependency because we are never alone. Together we can reach farther distances and the best Alli is God through His son Jesus Christ.

My plan this coming year is not to promise anything but to do something about what I have control over. When I’m most conscious of provocations to ill-nature and anger, I will strive to feel and act good-naturedly. This reminded me of the instruction of God through the Book of James to be quick to listen, slow to speak and to be slow to get angry.

Is it achievable? Let’s keep our hopes up before we even begin. Let’s make things happen.

A Hero Like No Other

Blessed morning family in Christ ❤️

Lala came to me one day and said that she was Super Pocoyo or Ela the Princess Knight because she wants to be a superhero.

This got me thinking about our fondness of superheroes like those in the Marvel and DC series, not because we believe we have super powers but because of the truth that evil can be overcomed.

The opening chapters of Isaiah say, “To us a son is given … and His name shall be called … Mighty God.” 9:6

He is the real superhero and what better way to remind ourselves that evil had been overcomed than knowing Jesus already did.

What do I long for?

Tonight, I am blessed because I got the chance to focus on what’s important. I turned off my access to FB and IG for a week and spent my mornings and evening thinking of God’s blessings like I’m going to physically die tomorrow and I never regreted it.

With the access to online information both bad counsel and wise advise are available at my fingertips, so I decided to put it down.

I long for deeper answers and it involved the Holiness of God. Praise God for He is already wonderful and no amount of advise could ever go beyond God’s counsel through His Words.
