Farewell

Cheers to the many more times we could grow together.

I was reminded of Deuteronomy 20:4 for the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.’

And, it’s bittersweet to leave this chat group. However, just like how Paul needed to leave for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God and so I will obey.

I am reminding you of this 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

When you remember me, may you be reminded of how wonderful God had been to me, my life and my family. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers and I am grateful in advance for remembering me in your prayers soon. God be praised for this season God allowed me to grow in this group.

See you around! 😘 #Ruth2022

John 17:5 I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. (NLT) πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

When we are in pain or undergoing difficulties beyond comprehension, our earnest plea is to take that burden away. We don’t want to experience any of it because our frail mind couldn’t comprehend it. The end result of a challenge that draws us down are what science calls stress and psychological imbalance. We are then prescribed medications to calm us down, when the truth is we need a listening ear, prayer and deliverance from self denial, self-incriminating thoughts and adhere to risk mitigating behaviors. The challenges are endless. In the end, we are still in a fallen world and a constant submission of our thoughts coupled with immersing desire to be soaked in God’s wisdom by faith delivers us from the whiles of the enemy. It is still a choice, to choose righteousness over wickedness when challenged. I was reminded of the word written in James, to count it all joy when we are faced with challenges because the process will make is endure if we persevere. 🏠

How about you, what challenges do you need prayer right now? May deliverance coming from the Lord brings victory upon our lives. πŸ˜€

Forgiveness

2 Chronicles 6:21 May you hear the humble and earnest requests from me and your people Israel when we pray toward this place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and when you hear, forgive. (NLT) πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

When in desperate situation and even when trapped in a place where we are not allowed to move, the best place to be is where God is. He is an omnipresent God – which means we can encounter God anywhere because He is everywhere and spread widely. We can never contain God in a box, in a basket nor in a building and say that He is there. We can just submit ourselves to His will and be contained by Him. Praise God for Jesus’ finished work on the cross that we can claim victory. This made it possible for us to pray anywhere we may be because He dwells in His people – to those who call upon the name of the Lord.

Wherever you are, whatever situation you’re in, seek to speak to God because He inclines His ears to hear us no matter where we are. 🏠

How about you, what is your action in desperate situation? For me, on my knees humbly admit my frailty and receive forgiveness. πŸ˜€

Like a Student

Isaiah 50:4 The Sovereign LORD has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. (NLT) πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

I have never understood why I am always awaken at dawn between 12AM ’till early morning. These contains all of the troubles that is being revealed to me both my own,y family, brethren and even far beyond our doors. To capture every instruction, I make it a point that I would write all of these in order to not forget anything. I was like a student in a classroom taking notes of the professor’s lecture only this time the homework is to draw deeply in my prayer closet and bring that concern to God. When I came across a moment which broke me, I now understand why listening is very important. It is when we are most willing to catch the instruction that God speaks and leads. 🏠

How about you? How do you catch God’s instruction? For me, writing and notebooking works well. πŸ˜€

Listen Intentionally

Good afternoon Sisters in Christ 🌞

1 John 4:6 But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception. (NLT)πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

In teaching language, we use the 4 macro skills: listening, writing, reading and speaking. In the world, listening is the hardest skill to learn and one that displays greater challenge to acquire because if we are of this world, we are wired and geared towards listening to speak rather than listening to understand. This is where miscommunication happens, we are ready to equate whatever is being shared to us and say, ‘yan na nga ang sinasabi ko’ and ‘dapat kasi ganito ang gawin mo’ approach to people sharing to us their concern. What happens is, instead of sharing our burdens to others we end up closing our ears to listen to what could be the truth from God through God’s people. 🏠

How about you? What is your goal in listening? For me, my prayer and goal is to listen to understand. ❀️

Qualifications

2 Corinthians 3:5 It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God. (NLT)πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

In school, many qualifications are required to be in the honor list. I have never, one single moment thought of being one, but my constant pursuit of knowledge made me line up for that list. I was at my best and yet over all, I thought deeply at how I always end up to be the second placer. This is where this Bible verse comes to play. I thought I can be best at my own because being brought up to be competitive is what pumps me up. Yet, when I fall short I become more sad. Recently, I learn to do my best and let go of the things I have no control of. If I am second or no place at all I leave that to God because serving doesn’t end with me but with God.🏠

How about you? What qualifications do have which you thought of letting go? For me, constant reaching for a spot in the line.❀️

Prayer

Psalm 34:1-3 I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.

We are gathered here this afternoon, our Jehovah, to exalt Your name on high in our prayer and supplication. This is because You oh Lord is at hand; You told us to not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to You. And Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. We recognize You as Lord over our lives and the very indwelling of the Holy Spirit makes us bear fruit. We recognize Your sovereignty over all of Your creation and You cause everything to work together for good to those who love You. We love You Lord.

We desire for Your Kingdom to come and Your will to be done on Earth as it is in heaven. You have caused for Your Kingdom of righteousness to reign over us and together, we will call upon Your name while You may be found. We recognize Your Kingdom of joy, peace, contentment and comfort to come upon Your people as we are in dire thirst of the fullness of Your presence and the freshness that comes from the Living Water. As we, Keys of the Kingdom Life in the Spirit Fellowship gather to remember Your faithfulness for 40 years, we celebrate how You have united us as one body and we continue to move in unity, love and joy that You who began a good work in this church shall take it to completion. Your will upon the vision You impressed in the heart of Reverend Michael Pangwi and Sister Lydia Pangwi may continue to pave the way of Jesus as He comes to gather those who had been carefully preparing to welcome Your coming from every homecells, zones, districts, local and international outreaches. May Your will be for the eqquiping and encouragement of our associate pastors, their wives, children and family including those who walk, who help and supports the anointing that flows from the leaders down to everyone who walks and runs in the same vision.

We recognize You as our provider, Jehovah Jireh, You are our Father who doesn’t hold back in giving what is good, because every good gifts come from You. You have caused blessings to follow us all the days of our lives as we obey and do Your Word. You have allowed our territories to increase because as our substance increase Your heart is for us to be a blessing to others, to manage these resources wisely and to give cheerfully to those whom You would want to bless through us. We thank You, yes Lord for Your goodness. We declare that You own everything that we have from all these material blessings, financial capacity, our children, our students, friends, neighbors and family. We have nothing to boast but in Your name, allow us to honor You for all that You have entrusted under our care. Whatever we think we lack and need, You will fill because You always open opportunities for us to be victorious in providing for our families. We glorify Your name for every moment You have blessed the work of our hands even before we ask. We owe You our lives and we desire for Your wisdom to come upon us in conducting our matters discreetly.

You said that if we, Your people who are called by Your name will humble ourselves, and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven and will forgive our sin and heal our land. We, Your people are calling on Your name right this hour because Your will is greater and higher than ours. We had been once slave to sin and are now slave to You oh God. We renounce our constant dwelling in the past and comparing it to the troubles of today. Forgive our sins, for lusting on our fleshly desires, lusting over what our eyes desire to find and holding pride in our hearts which causes division and death. May forgiveness reign over us that we have no reason to hold grudges against each other. To those who have wronged us, both knowingly and unknowingly, may we find the courage to forgive as You have forgiven Your people through Your son Jesus Christ. May Your forgiveness reign over countries at war, over political leaders in misunderstanding, over neighbors who can not bear each other’s presence, over every husband and wives who thinks there is no hope in their marriage and over every sibling rivalries.

Lead us not to be tempted in returning to our old selves that we will forget our standing with You. Deliver us from the whiles of the enemy who spread lies for us to not see the truth that there is hope in You. Deliver us from every insecurities and lead us to the way eternal. Deliver us from being complacent and easy going in our Spiritual Growth. Deliver us from thinking we know more than anyone else but humble us to the point that we may fear You, because from fearing You is where Godly wisdom come from. Deliver Your people from sadness for the loss of their families both from natural calamities, war, sickness and social circumstances. May Your comfort reach every home.

We claim Your protection upon each of us wherever You may call us for the furtherance of Your Kingdom. Protect the younger generation in the faith that they believe in – that Christ is the only way, the truth and the life. Equip your people with a ready answer when our faith is being questioned. Cause us not to be swayed, but persistently move towards their goal to serve You and fulfill their calling. Protect every ministers whom You have called to be a witness of Your goodness. Protect every home just as how You have passed over each home when the Israelites were in Egypt. That no death shall come upon each home who have claimed the blood of Jesus Christ – the Lamb who was slain for our redemption – over their home.

We continue to rely upon the wisdom that comes from You and that every decisions we make from now, moving forward are all for the glory of Your name. As long as the tomb where Christ had been laid is empty, we celebrate Jesus’ victory over this life and over death. We praise You because You are a living God and our faith is true. We declare Your government upon all government, Your Kingdom over all kingdoms, Yours is the power and the honor forever and ever In Jesus Name Amen

Unfading Word

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. (NLT)πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

When I was young I never have the knowledge that we could access God’s Word. Since the church is crowded all I could hear is the homily. When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior I felt a hunger and desired to grow. I was introduced to a library of books , 66 to be exact and I was overwhelmed. After having access, the books stayed dusted in our house because I don’t know where to start and what to read. In desperation, I was brought on my knees to the book of Romans. I was sobbing and could never stop when I read the whole book and couldn’t remove from my thoughts about being slave to sin and now slave to God. Although I was new in faith, the book I read the very first time, opened my eyes to the truth that God is real and He spoke. God be praised for His Word is always true, it never failed and neither it will fail at all. My ignorance then was a state I never wanted to go back to because not knowing his promises is like walking without knowledge of the goodness of God. 🏠

How about you? What is your Word encounter as you were traversing to your new life? For me, my Word encounter was I was then slave to sin but is now slave to God. All glory to the Lord alone. ❀️

Light In The Darkness

Good morning Family in Christ 🌞

Sharing to you an encouragement I received today 🏠🏑

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, β€œLet there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. (NLT)πŸ—‘οΈβš”οΈ

As the only Born Again Bible believing Christ follower in our family, the battle is real even the persecutions too. My desire is to see them share with the joy I have in Christ but they are tied to their beliefs, upbringing and experiences both good and bad. What am I to do now? I am related to them by blood and they cannot see as I do. It was difficult because I know them very well, what they like and not like. Sometimes it’s easier to be kind to others than our own family but it’s not the end because the more we are changed by God through prayer, meditation and worship we should shine more light than simply giving up and fool ourselves by thinking that there is no way for them to receive the salvation God offers through Christ. After all, if we are changed and we radiate that to our families, they’d reflect the same light. I was reminded of the moon and how the moon’s light is dependent on the Sun, without God we have no light to reflect either.🏠

How about you? Are you still praying for that one family member to come to God in Christ’s righteousness? For me, I have 6 adults and 4 nieces that God didn’t forget to call and are still calling up to now. ❀️
